What we collect

• Name and shipping address (to fulfill orders).

• Phone number, when provided (for delivery exceptions).
• Payment information — handled directly by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Order history and account preferences.
• Standard web analytics — pages visited, referrer, device type.

How we use it

• To process and ship your orders.
• To respond to inquiries you send us.
• To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and (if you opt in) marketing.
• To detect fraud and abuse.

Sub-processors

• Vercel (hosting): receives requests to our storefront.
• Cloudflare (DNS and DDoS protection).
• WordPress / Cloudways (backend storage).
• PayPal (payment processing) — see Terms. Chosen 2026-09-20; a card gateway may be added later.
• Supabase (database): stores quote requests, rental bookings and wholesale applications.
• Resend (transactional email).
• Canada Post / UPS / FedEx (shipping carriers).

Your rights under Canadian privacy law

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing sales@ubiqdistribution.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Cookies

We use cookies for cart state and (if you opt in) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will break the cart.

Data retention

Order records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Canadian tax-record retention requirements. Email lists are retained until you unsubscribe.
